The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) continues to provide financial help to low-income households across Pakistan. How to Check BISP Kafalat Payment Status

1. Check via SMS (8171 Service)

The 8171 SMS service is the official and best way to check your payment status.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Open the SMS app.
2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).
3. Send it to 8171.
4. Wait for a reply from BISP. It will inform you:
   • If you are eligible
   • If your payment is ready for collection
   • Or if you are required to finish a survey

Note: SMS must be sent from your mobile number registered in your name.

2. Check via Registered BISP Agents

You can also go to the nearest BISP-authorized payment camp or bank agent to check your payment status individually.

Steps:

1. Visit your closest HBL Konnect or Bank Alfalah BISP center.
2. Provide your original CNIC.
3. The agent will verify your details using biometric verification.
4. If your payment is available, you’ll obtain the Payment at the location.
5. You’ll also get a printed receipt for confirmation.

Important: Never pay any fee to the agent. BISP services are free of charge.
