CM Punjab Bikes Scheme 2025 Eligibility & How to Apply

The Punjab government has launched the CM Punjab Bikes Scheme 2025. Under this initiative, thousands of eligible students across Punjab will receive petrol and electric bikes through easy monthly installments with zero interest. This scheme, introduced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, aims to promote education, empower students—especially girls—and reduce the financial burden of daily travel.

Key Highlights of the Scheme

  1. Total Bikes: 20,000 bikes in the first stage
    • 19,000 Petrol Bikes
    • 1,000 Electric Bikes
  2. Installment Plan:
    • Easy monthly installments (Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000)
    • No interest or hidden charges
  3. Eligibility:
    • Students enrolled in any public or private college/university in Punjab.
    • Must have a valid student ID and CNIC or B-form
  4. Special Quota for Girls:
    • 50% quota for female students to encourage gender equality
  5. Distribution Areas:
    • Initially launched in major cities like Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, etc.

How to Apply Online?

Students can register online through the official portal launched by the Punjab government:

  1. Visit: bikes.punjab.gov.pk
  2. Click on “Register” and create an account.
  3. Fill out the application form with your personal and academic information.
  4. Choose your bike type (petrol or electric)
  5. Submit the required documents:
    • CNIC/B-form
    • Student ID card
    • Proof of enrollment
  6. Wait for approval and further instructions from the portal.
  7. The last date to apply for the CM Punjab Bike Scheme 2025 was April 29, 2025. Students were advised to complete their registration before this deadline to ensure their applications were considered.
